How to send a fax in the US - any current options?

Hello. I was asked to send a few forms by fax for a background check, but I’ve never actually done that before. I’m wondering if it’s still possible to fax documents somewhere like FedEx, Walgreens, or maybe the post office. Also curious about how much it usually costs and whether it’s quick to do. Most of what I find online seems outdated, so any current info would help.
