I’ve always been curious about Minecraft but never actually played it. I’m particularly interested in the Java version because of all the cool mods and community stuff. While searching around, I stumbled upon something called a Minecraft Java Edition free download, but I’m skeptical about whether that’s safe or even legal.
Is there an official way to test the game out before buying it? Maybe a trial or demo? I'd rather not mess with sketchy downloads.
Any guidance for a total newbie would be awesome.
